You understand that through the use of this Website that you agree to the collection and use of your personal information by Meervets. Your personal information includes, but is not limited to, information you provide when creating an account, creating a profile, creating or uploading a resume, submitting job applications or submitting job listings/advertisements.
We use your personal information for providing and improving the Website/Service. For the purposes of operating the Website, your personal information may be transferred and stored in other countries.
If you provide credit, debit or other payment details or information to Meervets in order to make a payment, the information will only be used for the purpose of the payment.
A job seeker has the option of configuring a resume to be “Private” or “Published”. Published resumes can be viewed by any registered user that has access to the resume search feature (job listers/employers/administrators). A subscription or payment model may be used to allow access to published resumes. Private resumes are only visible to the logged in registered users who created the resume, and to Meervets for the purposes of operating the Website.
For job applications submitted through the Website, your applications and personal information will be sent to the job lister/employer. The job lister/employer is responsible for providing the the correct contact information for the destination of job applications. If that information is incorrect then your applications and personal information will not be sent to the intended recipient of the application. Meervets claims no liability for such applications.
If a registered user needs to delete or retract a job application they will need to contact the job lister to request deletion of their application.
When a registered user (job seeker, job lister/employer) closes an account, the registered user will no longer have access to any of the data under that account name. Meervets reserves the right to keep data in a closed account. A closed account does not mean that all of the data is removed from the systems.
While using our Website/Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, phone number, postal address, other information (“Personal Information”).
Meervets reserves the right to communicate with you for the purpose of running the Website, or initiate communication with you on behalf of a third party, through your account or by using contact information that you provided to Meervets when you created or updated your account/profile, through a job listing, through a job application or resume upload. Should you create job alerts then you will receive emails from Meervets containing recommended jobs and possible marketing material and advertisements.
Contact information that you add to your public profile, upload within a resume or file, submit via a job listing, submit via a job application or provide to other job seekers, job listers/employers or third parties, or that is shared publicly through any other means, is your responsibility and you accept that you have voluntarily shared this information.
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Website/Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, location, demographic information, browser type, browser version, device type, the pages of our Website/Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. Meervets may share information with third parties in order to show you targeted advertisements and other content that has been customised for you.
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Please also note that Meervets may use third party website hosting, data storage and other services pursuant to standard terms and conditions that are be non-negotiable. These third parties make it known that adequate security measures are taken to protect information within their system, or they have a general reputation for ensuring of such measures. We are not liable for damages that may result from the misuse of any information by these companies.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Use of this Website with, including but not limited to, your web browser, communication methods such as email and other similar means of communication, are not encrypted.
If you create a profile, resume or job listing on the Website, although we prohibit scraping of the Website, any information or content you create is public information and the content may be copied by a third party in violation of these terms.

Our Website/Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Information, please Contact Us. If we discover that a Children under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.
